Create a new material.

In color add a Fresnel channel

click edit. Delete the middle color of the bar. Those color values are a suggestion:

For the Specular channel:

Width 78%

Height 1000%

Falloff 0%

Inner Width 0%

For the specular color add a fresnel channel with the default settings.

Add the material to all the splines. UVW mapping is OK.
